Brad Chambers founded Buckingham Companies in 1984 as a management firm for existing projects, acquisitions and the development of multifamily residential housing. Chambers is a principal in all of the company-owned partnerships, and oversees the direction of each of the company's divisions, including Property/Asset Management, Development, and Construction. Chambers is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Business, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Government Housing Finance Programs committee with the Indiana Builders Association, is a past member of the Indiana State Office Building Commission, is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and is active with the National Association of Home Builders and the National Multi Housing Council. Chambers is also a past member of the Board of Directors of the Apartment Association of Indiana and the Indianapolis Police Department Civilian Merit Board.
Executive Vice President - Alexandra S. Jackiw, CPM®Alex Jackiw is responsible for all property and asset management functions and the development of third-party fee management business. The management portfolio currently includes more than 88 apartment communities in a six-state area totaling almost 15,000 units. Before joining Buckingham, Jackiw worked with several large publicly traded investment and management companies where she had profit and loss responsibility for portfolios in multi-state areas that included conventional, market-rate properties, full-service retirement communities, and HUD-regulated properties. Her experience includes all aspects of property management, marketing, new business development, and training. Active in professional organizations, Jackiw currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Apartment Association, National Apartment Association, and National Apartment Association Education Institute. She also holds an appointment as Assistant Professor at Ball State University, where she teaches in the Residential Property Management program. Jackiw is a licensed real estate broker in Indiana and Ohio and holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester and received her M.Ed. from Ohio University.
Chief Financial Officer - Christopher W. Myrvold, CPA, MBAChris Myrvold's responsibilities include managing and monitoring all accounting functions, financial reporting, strategic planning/budgeting, financial analysis, investor/lender relations and information technology. Chris's professional experience included serving as President for an engineering and manufacturing company located in Central Indiana. In addition, Chris worked several years with PricewaterhouseCoopers serving privately held and public companies, including clients in the real estate industry. Chris received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ball State University and his MBA with a finance emphasis from Butler University. Chris is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accounts, Indiana CPA Society, Beta Gamma Sigma and an active participant with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
President, Buckingham Construction Corporation - Michael J. FoxMike is President of Buckingham Construction Corporation and is responsible for project management, estimating, sales, conceptual design, value engineering, and quality control. Mike has been critically involved in the construction and development of over $200 million of commercial, industrial, office, medical and multi-family facilities throughout the Midwest. He previously was President of Paragon General Contractors, Inc. and worked in sales management and project management for Greenfield Builders and was Vice President of Greenwalt Development, Inc. An economics major from Indiana University, Mike has worked in the construction and real estate development field for more than 20 years. Client service and satisfaction remain his priority. Mike is active in many local organizations and philanthropies. He is a youth sports coach at First Baptist Athletics, St. Luke School, a past school commission member of St. Luke Catholic School, Co-chair of the Wellness Community Golf Event, Executive Committee Member of the Lambda Corporation of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and he is currently on the Leadership Committee for the Hoosier Oncology Group and is involved with Shepherd Community. Mike is a licensed real estate salesperson in Indiana.

Director of Operations - John E. Ehrhardt, CPM®, CCIM, MBAAs Director of Operations, John Ehrhardt maintains property management operations oversight of the apartment communities in the six-state area, including Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Michigan. He is responsible for financial analysis, capital improvement projects, budgeting and property management operations, as well as oversight of the commercial, retail and industrial properties totaling more than 280,000 square feet of rentable space. Before joining Buckingham, Ehrhardt worked for large publicly traded investment and management companies as well as private property management and development companies. Ehrhardt holds degrees in both Architectural Engineering and Construction Engineering from Indiana State University. He also earned an MBA in Real Estate Management and Development from Nova University, Florida, and holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation through IREM and the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.
Director of Professional Development - Kimberly HurdKimberly Hurd is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for site personnel. In addition to her training duties, she provides marketing support for the Buckingham portfolio with a focus on under-performing assets, developing advertising/outreach materials, and creating targeted marketing. She graduated from Franklin College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. She is a frequent contributor to the Sales and Marketing Magic publication and has served as a facilitator for the nationally renowned Multifamily Housing Brainstorming Sessions for several years. She is also active in the Indiana Apartment Association, where she serves on the Marketing Task Force.
Director of Maintenance and Technical Services - David CreekDavid Creek began in the business of maintenance and apartment management over two decades ago and has held the positions of Maintenance Supervisor, Regional Maintenance Supervisor, and Mentoring Supervisor. This broad range of experience makes Creek a perfect fit for maintenance support and guidance for Buckingham's entire portfolio. He currently is working on several Capital Expenditure projects, in-field training, and is a proctor for CFC/EPA certification. Creek is a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician and Certified Apartment Property Supervisor, in addition to being an HVAC specialist.
Human Resources Manager - Kristen SandersKristen Sanders joined Buckingham Companies in 1996 as a Property Manager and has played several additional roles, such as Director of Compliance, Management Specialist and, currently, Human Resources Manager. She provides Human Resources support for all site and corporate personnel, in addition to being the Buckingham liaison to all outside Human Resource sources. Her years of Human Resource experience and dedication played a large role in Buckingham's receipt of the 2004 Best Employee Relations Prodigy Award. Sanders is certified as a Human Resources Generalist, a National Compliance Professional and a Housing Credit Compliance Professional.
Director of Marketing & Public Relations - Christina FeltsChristina Felts is responsible for directing all company branding and marketing initiatives at both the corporate and property level. Prior to joining Buckingham in 2008, Christina served as Vice President of Marketing for one of the nation's leading commercial real estate development companies. For more than 10 years she has held various executive level marketing positions including Corporate Director of Marketing for a national hotel and casino company. Ms. Felts has led numerous strategic corporate branding and marketing projects and has managed teams in creating award winning campaigns. She specializes in creating brands and building awareness through strategic and comprehensive marketing initiatives. For over 15 years she has led corporate and project marketing management, creative design, advertising, public relations and communications for properties nationwide. In 2007, Ms. Felts accepted a prestigious "Stevie Award" for "Best Company Branding" at the American Business Awards in New York, New York.
Regional Property Manager and Director of Compliance - Maria RainwaterMaria Rainwater joined the Buckingham team in 1996 as a leasing consultant and has held a variety of positions for the company, including Assistant Manager, Property Manager, Regional Property Manager and Director of Compliance. She manages four communities and specializes in compliance with regard to the low-income housing tax credit program. In her compliance capacity, Rainwater oversees the restructuring of file systems for new fee managed communities. Her experience and expertise in the tax credit arena is vital to the Management Team's due diligence process. She holds a Tax Credit accreditation, CAPS certification and a National Compliance Professional certification.
Regional Property Manager - Linda S. Ferrill, CPM®Linda Ferrill oversees Buckingham Companies' Carmel, Indiana, portfolio in addition to northern Indiana communities for a total of over 2,000 apartment homes. She is responsible for the daily operation and financial success of a portfolio of communities and is skilled in marketing, financial management, maintenance and training. Ferrill is a graduate of Ball State University and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. She holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation through IREM. Ferrill is also active on the Ball State University Residential Property Management Advisory Board.
Regional Property Manager - Andrea CummingsJoining Buckingham in January 2005, Andrea Cummings manages a group of apartment communities located in Indianapolis, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio. Her affordable housing experience, gained from serving for three years as the Director of Housing Management for the Indianapolis Housing Agency, is a great asset both to her portfolio and the Buckingham Management team. Cummings is a candidate for the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation awarded through IREM and is currently working on her coursework toward that designation. She also holds the Certified Public Housing Manager (CPHM) designation awarded through the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) and the Certified Tax Credit Manager designation awarded through Quadel Consulting Corporation. Cummings attended the University of Cincinnati where she studied Business Management and has also taken courses in Residential Property Management at Ball State University.
Regional Property Manager - Heather Gaff
Heather Gaff joins the Buckingham Team with several years of property and regional management
experience and currently oversees several tax credit and conventional properties across the Midwest.
Heather holds her Indiana real estate license and served as a Sales Manager for a condominium
conversion project in Indianapolis. In 2004 Heather received an invitation to serve as a member
of the advisory board for Ball State's Regional Property Manager Program. Heather brings a wealth
of additional skills and experience including personnel and software training, marketing and public
relations and strategic and financial planning. Heather holds a Bachelor of Art degree in Education
from the University of Saint Francis and also attended Indiana University-Purdue University Fort
Wayne.
Angie Atkins joined Buckingham August 2006 and manages a portfolio of 2500 units throughout the state of Indiana. She has over 10 years of multi-site supervisory experience. She holds the Site Compliance Specialist designation thru Elizabeth Moreland Consulting, earned her CAP designation through the Indiana Apartment Association in 2008 and her Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation through IREM in 2010. Prior to joining Buckingham, she was responsible for developing policy and procedure that encompassed the marketing approach for both Section 42 and Conventional properties. In past ventures, she has been awarded a variety of honors, including: Top Performance in a new Position, Top Manager and Top Contribution by a District Manager.
Carrie manages properties for Buckingham in Southern Indiana and Kentucky. Since her start with
Buckingham in July of 2006, she has developed a portfolio of eight properties, one of which just
completed a large rehab project. Before joining Buckingham, she developed a strong background in
lease-up marketing and management and in the acquisition of properties. Carrie has a Bachelors
degree from Indiana University in Marketing and Logistics.
Susan manages a portfolio in excess of 1400 units in the Indianapolis and northern Indiana area.
Prior to her start with Buckingham in October 2006, Susan was a Senior Regional manager for a
1500 plus unit portfolio. Her range of management experience stems from tax credit and market
rate properties to lease-up marketing and sales. Winning the Indiana Apartment Association's
Regional Manager of the Year award for 2006 proves the significance of her years of valuable
industry experience.
Utilizing her 35 years of experience in property management, Susan DeHeer knows how to effectively
increase property occupancies and achieve ownership objectives. DeHeer oversees over 1,600
apartment homes in properties located in Indianapolis, Indiana, Lafayette, Indiana and Gurnee,
Illinois for Buckingham Management, LLC. She holds her Certified Property Manager (CPM®)
designation through IREM as well as her Real Estate Broker License in Indiana. She is also a
Certified Occupancy Specialist. DeHeer's strong marketing programs, pricing and concession
strategies and strong customer service focus are major components in the financial success of her
community portfolios.
Leslie Buckhorn joined Buckingham Companies in 2008 and comes with over 10 years of experience
managing multi site properties. Specializing in tax credit properties, Leslie has communities
throughout Michigan and Ohio. Prior to Buckingham she worked to create site policies and procedures
and was responsible for successfully leasing up many newly constructed properties. In 2006 Leslie
obtained her CAPS designation from the National Apartment Association.
Jane Hendrickson is responsible for managing land acquisition and entitlement activities as well as directing projects from pre-development through completion of the project with construction contractors. Hendrickson has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting/Business Administration from Marian College. She has experience working with contracting administration and negotiating financial packages for various aspects of real estate projects for over thirty years. Currently she is a charter member of Women in Land Development Network, Marian College Capital Improvements and Development Board and active in Indiana Commercial Real Estate Professionals.
Development Manager - Matt GriffinMatt Griffin is responsible for site design, entitlements, and project management of Buckingham's land acquisition and development activities in the Midwest. Matt's previous experience includes urban design, comprehensive city planning, and neighborhood planning. Matt holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Ball State University. Matt is a member of the American Planning Association and holds a professional certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners.
Senior Legal Counsel - Andrew Klineman, J.D.As Senior Legal Counsel, Andy provides legal counsel, advice and services intended to enable Buckingham to achieve its business objectives without exposing Buckingham to inappropriate legal risks. Andy recieved his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame. Andy's professional experiences include serving as Associate General Counsel for a national real estate developer, an associate attorney in the real estate section of the largest law firm in Indianapolis and Deputy Chief of Staff in the Mayor's Office of the City of Indianapolis. Andy is a member of the Indiana and Indianapolis Bar Associations, the Association of Corporate Counsel and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Indianapolis Public Transporation Corporation (IndyGo).

Vice President, Buckingham Construction Corporation - Gregg HendershotAs Vice President of Metro Construction Corporation a Buckingham Company, Gregg oversees all of the construction operation. Gregg is instrumental in building relationships with new clients and managing the team that delivers facilities to internal and external clients. Gregg received his Bachelor degree in Building Construction and Contracting from Purdue University. He has over 22 years of professional experience and diverse knowledge in multi-family and commercial construction. Before joining the Buckingham team in June of 2007, Gregg's previous experience includes serving as a Vice President at AIMCO where he oversaw all construction services in their Midwest region and President of the Crosland contracting division, a full service real estate company in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Director of Business Development, Buckingham Construction Corporation - Charlie Hill
As Director of Business Development for Buckingham Construction Corporation, Charlie Hill pursues
and secures commercial construction opportunities, as well as multi-family construction projects.
Prior to the consolidation of Paragon General Contractors into Buckingham Construction Corporation,
Charlie served as President of Paragon General Contractors and was responsible for operations of
the firm and was the driving force behind much of the company's new and repeat construction business.
Before joining Paragon in 2000 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Charlie was Vice President
of Sales for Faerber's Bee Window. He also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for
North American Roofing Systems where his projects included Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, IN
and national account work for JC Penney and K-Mart. Charlie obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Business Administration from Hanover College in Hanover, IN where he played football and baseball.
He holds a real estate license in the state of Indiana. Additionally, Charlie, a two time national
flag football champion, is an assistant football coach at New Palestine High School and has also
coached an extensive amount of travel baseball.
As Director of Redevelopment Construction, Chris is tasked with overseeing all of the rehabilitation projects for Buckingham Companies. Chris has worked with Buckingham since 2001 and has facilitated projects for The Reserve at Williams Glen, Providence at Old Meridian, Bradford Woods Apartments, Mohawk Hills clubhouse remodel, Governor Square clubhouse remodel, Walnut Knolls Apartments and the Century Realty Trust rehabilitation project that included 10 properties. Most recently, Chris has been overseeing the rehabilitation of two of Buckingham's unique historic downtown properties, The Ambassador and Harness Factory. Chris is an active volunteer at his children's school and enjoys participating in Habitat for Humanity builds.
Senior Project Manager - Timothy Roberts
As Senior Project Manager, Tim Roberts has the responsibility of overseeing and managing all
aspects of the construction process. Prior to joining Buckingham, Tim worked for Paragon General
Contractors, Inc. as Vice President and Senior Project Manager for eight (8) years. Tim worked
as project manager for Eden Enterprises and was co-owner of an interior finish firm for several
years. His extensive experience includes a variety of commercial projects, including large retail
projects, industrial facilities, medical facilities, and offices.
Tim attended Purdue University, majoring in construction technology, and is a Certified Professional
Constructor. He currently is a member of the American Institute of Constructors. Tim enjoys
volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and church-related projects.
As Project Manager, Steve Shaver's responsibilities at Buckingham Construction include project development, estimating, budgeting, and overall project management. He has valuable experience in a variety of projects, including residential, mixed use, multi family, and land development. Prior to coming to Buckingham, Steve managed the construction of several large single family developments for M/I Homes Inc. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Purdue University.
Project Manager - Tony Anderson
Tony joined Buckingham Construction Corporation in 2008. His immediate impact was to improve the
operational success of the company performance. The goal was to enhance client relationships,
field production, site coordination, scheduling, and project financial control.
With nearly 20 years of construction management experience, Tony has been involved with fast/track
construction, retail, office and industrial construction. Prior to Buckingham, Tony worked for
Dillon Construction Group as Vice President of Construction, Greenfield Companies and Corna/Kosing
Construction in Ohio. Tony's skills include design build, estimating, cost control, scheduling,
value engineering/constructability review, negotiation and administration of contracts, scheduling
and field organization. Tony is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Construction Technology.
Jim Woodworth joined Buckingham Construction Corporation in 2009. Jim previously worked for Paragon General Contractors, Inc. as Estimator with the responsibility of soliciting bids from subcontractors and preparing estimates according to each project's scope. Prior to joining Paragon, Jim worked at Kite Realty Group as an Estimator, and spent some time as a self-employed residential home builder. Jim graduated with a B.S. from Indiana University, and enjoys spending time with his family.
Construction Coordinator / Administrative Assistant - Carol HowellCarol Howell joined Buckingham Construction Corporation in 2008. Carol previously worked for Lauth Construction, LLC as an Administrative Assistant for the Construction/Preconstruction departments with the responsibilities of maintaining the master subcontractor data base, master documents, and department library, prepare new contracts, maintained/created company-wide job file list, travel arrangements and various other duties as assigned. Prior to joining Lauth, Carol worked as a Contract Employee at Eli Lily in the Regulatory Affairs Department. Carol attended Columbus State for Architectural Drafting and AutoCAD. She enjoys spending time helping out her dad with the remodeling and addition of his house on the weekends.
